server provides an affordable solution for medical digital
imaging storage and access.
Using industry leading MS SQL (MSDE) and robust
hardware, the server offers high performance multi-thread
access over LAN or secured VPN.
This server features a scalable SCSI Disk Array that
can provide over 1 Terabyte of online, fast access storage.
DICOM 3.0 modalities can be configured to send studies
digitally directly to the server.
Once on the server, any client can view the study
contents. The
premium server offers RAID, level 5, supports multiple
platforms, and multiple storage media.
Additionally, near-line storage can be provided with
DVD Jukebox technology. This
scalable premium server is scalable and can help you migrate
to future filmless operations.

Unlike ASP teleradiology models, VIEWSEND never leaves your
images on the public Internet or on a non-secured PC.
The server and patient data always resides inside the
hospital. VIEWSEND
SmartServer uses Virtual Private Network and Firewall
technology to allow 128-bit encrypted, point-to-point private
tunnels from clinicians’ homes or offices.
A full-featured firewall uses technology based on
stateful inspection, securing against intruders and
denial-of-service attacks.
